Good Eats in the Morning

When I was on maternity leave Chris and I quickly found that breakfast dates were the best way to go out with little Miss Margot. It was during one of these outings that we discovered a new favorite haunt--New Day Bakery. For you locals this delightful bakery and restaurant is in the Whitaker across the street from Papa's Soul Food. They have wonderful breads, pastries and hot breakfast, as well as a very interesting internationally inspired lunch/dinner menu. So far we have only had breakfast. Not only is the food good but the atmosphere is wonderful. It's a warm friendly environment perfect for spending a quite Saturday morning chatting with your husband and oohing over your brand new baby.

And really what better way to start your Saturday than to share the most delicious pan Au chocolate since Paris with your darling husband.
